Staten Island Ferry

The Staten Island Ferry provides over 20 million people a year with a mode of transportation between Staten Island and Lower Manhattan. 60,000 people a day ride on the ferry to get to their destination. It provides the riders with a beautiful view of New York including the Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island. While I was on the ferry, I noticed a lot of people standing by themselves looking off the side of the ferry. A lot of these people looked as though they were in deep thought and I found it to be really beautiful.  So not only does the ferry provide the rider with transportation it also provides them with time for reflection. Here is the documented process of my journey on the Staten Island Ferry.

  1. I love all of these! Really great. The one of the girl sitting the the green bench and the homeless looking man are my favorite shots. But the one that has the coolest composition is the one with the door half open and the man behind it. That one is great! GOOD JOB ROSE!
